About me

Hi, I am Atul Kumar, currently pursuing my Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar as a DST-INSPIRE Senior Research Fellow (SRF). I completed my undergraduate studies in Chemistry (Hons.) at Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, University of Delhi, India, in June 2017. In July 2019, I obtained my postgraduate degree in Chemistry (H.S.) from the Department of Chemistry & Centre for Advanced Studies in Chemistry, Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. In September 2020, I joined the Department of Chemistry at IIT Ropar as a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Prof. Rajendra Srivastava. My research focuses on the development of multi-functional catalysts and photocatalysts for the production of renewable fuels and chemicals from biomass and their derived chemicals.
