EliteCore Devs ("we", "us", "our") operates the AttendEase mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and the terms governing your use of the App.
By downloading, accessing, or using AttendEase, you agree to the practices and terms outlined in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information Collection & Third-Party Services
User-Provided Data: The App allows you to input attendance logs, names, roll numbers, and organizational details to manage your tracking needs. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and appropriate use of the data you enter into the App.
Data of Other Individuals: Teachers, Class Representatives, and other account holders may enter names, roll numbers, and attendance data belonging to students or other third parties. By entering this data, you confirm that you have the authority to do so (e.g. as an instructor or class representative of that group). AttendEase acts solely as a storage and processing tool for the data you provide — we do not independently verify or collect this information ourselves.
Automated Analytics & Advertisements: We use trusted third-party partners, notably Google AdMob and Firebase, to serve advertisements and help improve app performance. These services may automatically collect device identifiers (including your Advertising ID), IP addresses, crash logs, and ad interaction metrics in accordance with their respective privacy policies. You can limit ad personalization at any time through your device's Settings (e.g. "Reset Advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android).
2. Data Retention & Account Deletion
Attendance records, subject data, and roster information are retained for as long as your account and associated subjects remain active.
You can delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings → Account → Delete Account). Deleting your account permanently removes your account record and associated data from our systems. This action cannot be undone.
If a subject is deleted, its attendance records are removed accordingly.
3. Your Rights
You may contact us at any time to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, in addition to using the in-app deletion tools described above.
4. Commitment to Safety and Harm Removal
We strive to maintain a safe and reliable environment for all users.
If we discover or are notified of any harmful content, security vulnerabilities, misuse, or prohibited data within the App, we will promptly investigate and address it, including removing or restricting such elements to protect our users.
5. Service Availability and Operation
We work hard to ensure AttendEase functions smoothly and reliably. The App is provided to assist with attendance tracking, and we make reasonable efforts to maintain its performance and availability.
While we implement standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your information, no digital storage or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be entirely secure.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EliteCore Devs shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:
Temporary interruptions, connectivity issues, or data synchronization errors involving local storage or third-party cloud services.
Service limitations or ad-serving updates managed by third-party networks like Google AdMob.
7. Children's Privacy
AttendEase is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If we become aware that such information has been provided to us in violation of this policy, we will take steps to remove it.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect improvements or changes to the App. Updates will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the App constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
