It is with great pleasure that we announce and invite you to the 1st symposium on Advances in Tissue Preservation and Regeneration which will be held in Bratislava, Slovakia on November 11-13, 2022. The Symposium will be hosted by the Comenius University, Faculty Medicine in the heart of Bratislava. Comenius University has a rich history for education, research and discovery with the Faculty of Medicine enjoying an international reputation for training exceptional medical researchers in various domains. The Faculty of Medicine has been further strengthened in 2016 with the creation of a new Comenius University Science Park. Our hope is to shed light on the field of cell and tissue engineering with a vison to translate discovery science to particular applications in the clinic.
We intend to attract some of the top thinkers and researchers from across the globe in a focused atmosphere promoting mutual discussions and dialogue to harness technology and approaches that will be valuable to treating various diseases. We expect a vibrant program over a three day period with exceptional leaders in various research areas, tackling essential issues in cell survival and growth to pattern tissue. We plan state of the art research talks from leading experts in various fields including stem cell fate and reprogramming, cell senescence and survival, biomaterials and tissue engineering, novel drug delivery systems and therapeutics. Hope is also to build collaborations and promote Slovak science with a view to continue to grow the research enterprise in this dynamic field.
Bratislava is a unique city which exhibits a rich history in the arts and science with some exceptional cultural sites and an atmosphere fit for royalty. Bratislava is home to rich culinary culture as well with traditional Slovak, Czech, and Hungarian dishes. We are certain that our visitors will enjoy all the great historical aspects that the city has to offer.
