AtoZ Creative Network (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the AtoZ Creative Network mobile application (the “App”). This page informs users about our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when using our App.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

To provide and improve our services, we may collect the following information when you use the App:

Personal Information

When users create an account, we may collect:

• Name

• Email address

• Mobile phone number

• Address or location

• Profile photo

• Portfolio  link

• Equipment details listed by the user

Account Information

Users may create accounts using login or signup features within the app.

Usage Information

We may collect limited technical information such as:

• Device type

• Operating system version

• App usage activity

This helps us improve app performance and user experience.

Location

With your permission, we collect approximate and precise location from your device to help match you with nearby leads, creators, and marketplace listings. You can revoke location access at any time in your device settings. We do not track your location in the background.

Photos

Profile photos, portfolio images, and marketplace listing images you upload are stored with our provider (Appwrite) and are visible to other users of the App.

Push notification tokens
We collect a device push-notification token so we can send you notifications (for example, when someone responds to your posts).

Advertising ID and app-event data, as described in "Analytics & Advertising."

Marketplace and collaboration content you create, including listings (equipment details, photos, price, and location), collaboration posts, responses, and the messages you send.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Create and manage user accounts

• Display user portfolio link and profiles

• Allow users to connect with other creative professionals

• Enable users to view contact information when interacting with profiles

• Improve the functionality and performance of the app

• Maintain security and prevent misuse of the platform

3. User Profile Visibility

Some information provided by users may be visible to other users of the platform, including:

• Name

• Portfolio link

• Equipment listings

• Professional details

• Contact phone number

• Location

Users should only share information they are comfortable making visible to others on the platform.

4. Data Storage and Security

User data is securely stored using Appwrite infrastructure.

We take reasonable security measures to protect user information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

However, no internet-based service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only as described below:

• Service providers / infrastructure. We use Appwrite (our backend and storage provider) to operate the App.

• Analytics and advertising partners. We use the following third-party SDKs, which collect data as described in the "Analytics & Advertising" section below:

  • Google Firebase Analytics — for app usage analytics.

  • Meta (Facebook) SDK — for analytics and advertising measurement. The Meta SDK collects your device Advertising ID and app-event data and shares it with Meta Platforms, Inc.

• Other users. Certain information you provide is visible to other users of the App (see "User Profile Visibility," "Marketplace," and "Collaborations / Exposure").

• Legal and safety. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the safety, rights, or property of our users or the platform.
  
  

6. Analytics & Advertising

To understand how the App is used and to measure our marketing, we use analytics and advertising technologies:

• Google Firebase Analytics collects app-usage and interaction data and device identifiers. See Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

• The Meta (Facebook) SDK collects your device Advertising ID and records certain in-app events (such as app installs, app opens, sign-ups, and profile completion). This data is transmitted to and used by Meta for analytics and advertising measurement. See Meta's Data Policy at facebook.com/about/privacy.

You can reset or limit your Advertising ID at any time through your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Google → Ads). We do not sell this information.

7. User Content

Users may upload:

• Portfolio link

• Profile details

Users remain responsible for the content they upload and share within the app.

8. Marketplace, Collaborations & Messaging

• Marketplace listings are public. When you list equipment for sale or rent, the listing details (title, description, photos, price, condition, and general location) are visible to other users. We do not process payments; all payment and exchange happens directly between users, outside the App.

• Collaborations / Exposure. When you post a collaboration ("Exposure") request or respond to one, that information is shared with other users. When you accept a response, your phone number and the responder's phone number are shared with each other so you can connect directly (for example, by phone call or WhatsApp).

• Messages. Messages you send through the App (including marketplace chat) are stored on our servers and may be reviewed for safety and policy enforcement.

9. Account Deletion

Users have the right to delete their account and personal data.

You can request account deletion by:

• Using the Delete Account option within the app settings, or

• Contacting us at the email address provided below.
  
  

Once a deletion request is processed, personal data associated with the account will be removed from our systems, except where retention is required by law.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our app is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will take steps to remove it.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
