Currently, I am working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Earth Environment Research Center (EERC) in Kongju National University.

I've focused on the teleconnection mechanism between the Arctic/high-latitudes climate variability and mid-latitude extreme events such as heat waves, cold waves, and severe air pollution (PM10 and PM2.5).

I have experience as a research associate at Korea Polar Research Institute (KOPRI).

Recently, I have been interested in intra-seasonal oscillation and global climate modeling on extreme events in high- and mid-latitudes.
