Special Guest, Vilia Garcia, is booktalking YA Graphic Novel Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds and art by Danica Novgorodoff.

Vilia Garcia is the Region One Library Coordinator in deep South Texas. She spent 11 years as a middle and high school librarian, with 20 years, in total in education. In 2019, she was a finalist in AASL's Social Media Superstar for Advocacy Ambassador. She is a founding member of RGV Library Squad and an avid reader, to say the least!
