FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Where is my data stored?
Entirely on your device. AtlasKeep has no servers, no accounts and no cloud sync. Your trips, documents, diary and photos never leave your phone unless you export a backup yourself.
How do I back up my data?
Settings > Export Backup creates a single file containing all trips, photos and documents. Save it to iCloud Drive or the Files app. To restore, use Settings > Restore from Backup and pick that file. Your data is also included in your normal iPhone backup automatically.
How do I move AtlasKeep to a new phone?
Either restore your new phone from your regular iPhone backup, or export an AtlasKeep backup on the old phone, move the file using AirDrop or iCloud Drive, install AtlasKeep on the new phone, and use Restore from Backup.
What's free and what's paid?
Your first 2 trips are completely free with every feature included, including documents, diary, photos, collages and Trip Reels. A single one-time purchase unlocks unlimited trips forever. There is no subscription.
I bought Pro but it's locked again. What do I do?
Open the unlock screen and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the same Apple ID you bought it with. Pro is tied to your Apple ID and can always be restored for free.
How do I delete a trip or photo?
Swipe left on a trip in the list, or long-press it, or open the trip and use the menu in the top corner to choose Delete Trip. For photos, long-press a photo in the grid, or open it fullscreen and tap the trash icon. Deletion is permanent, so AtlasKeep always asks first.
Why does AtlasKeep ask for camera, photos, Face ID or location access?
Camera: to scan documents. Photos: to import trip photos and save collages or reels you create. Face ID: only if you turn on the app lock in Settings. Location: only if you geotag a diary entry. Notifications: only for the local reminder after a trip ends. Each permission is optional and used solely for that feature.
