ATLASKEEP PRIVACY POLICY
The short version: AtlasKeep collects no data. Everything you put into the app, including trips, documents, diary entries and photos, stays on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no way to see anything you store.
1. DATA WE COLLECT
None. AtlasKeep does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. The app works entirely offline and contains no analytics, tracking, or advertising frameworks. We cannot access your content, and neither can anyone else through us.
2. WHERE YOUR DATA LIVES
All content you create in AtlasKeep, including trips, itineraries, checklists, diary entries, document scans, and photos, is stored locally on your device in the app's private storage. If you use Apple's device backup, your AtlasKeep data is included in that backup under Apple's own terms; this is handled entirely by Apple and iOS, not by us.
3. BACKUPS YOU CREATE
The Export Backup feature creates a single file containing your data, on your device. You choose where it goes, for example iCloud Drive, the Files app, or AirDrop. We never receive or see this file. Protect it as you would any personal document.
4. DEVICE PERMISSIONS AND WHY WE ASK
Photo library: to import trip photos you select, and to save collages or Trip Reels you create. Only photos you explicitly pick are accessed.
Camera: to scan documents like passports or tickets, if you choose to.
Face ID or passcode: only if you enable App Lock, to unlock the app. Biometric data is handled by iOS and never leaves your device or reaches us.
Location: only when you tap to geotag a diary entry. The coordinate is stored with that entry on your device and nowhere else.
Notifications: only to remind you, locally, after a trip ends. Scheduled on your device; no server is involved.
Every permission is optional. Declining a permission only disables that specific feature.
5. PURCHASES
The optional Pro upgrade is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details and no personal information about you from a purchase. Apple's handling of your payment is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
6. CHILDREN
AtlasKeep does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because it collects no data at all.
7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If AtlasKeep's privacy practices ever change, for example if a future version adds an optional online feature, this policy will be updated here before that version ships, with a new effective date. The current promise stands for the current app: nothing leaves your device.
