Atlanta Magic Night was founded in 2014 by three original co-producers:

• Atlanta comedy legend Jerry Farber,

• Professional mentalist and speaker Mark Johnson

• Professional speaker, magician, and corporate entertainer Joe M. Turner

Johnson and Turner have produced the show since Mr. Farber's retirement. The show began in May 2014 at Jerry Farber's Side Door, then moved to Tapa Tapa after Farber sold the venue.

The show has been housed at Atlanta's landmark music and variety arts venue Red Light Cafe since 2017.
