Yash Johar (He/Him/His)

B.S. Chemistry, University of California Berkely (2019)

Yash’s current work focuses on probing optoelectronic properties in semiconductor nanowire systems using the near-field AFM technique s-SNOM and using the far-field technique Raman spectroscopy. He is also working to develop a new far-field IR spectroscopy technique as well as using AFM-IR to probe molecules in hybrid semiconductor-molecule systems for CHASE. In his downtime, Yash likes playing the piano and exploring new places in town. He wishes to work in the fields of semiconductor industry and science communication.
