"So, why are you doing this?"
Great question. Things have changed since I last wrote this out, but let's give this another go. Hello again everyone, I am Athy or Moth, and I am a queer non-binary artist, musician, and writer trying to make my mark on the world. I don't exactly think I'll be "the next Van Gogh". Or anything like that. It's more that I want to tell stories. Stories are why I took up writing, art, and music. In their early stages, they came around the same time. It wasn't until middle/high school that I really developed on my art and writing skills. On the other hand, with music, I took over 10 years of piano lessons from when I was about 5, but middle/high school years introduced me to digital music making. Eventually, I'd grow these talents publically, and the praise I got helped me grow confidence in my voice. Shout out to anyone who was around for me back then. ^^
I've achieved some of my goals, in quite unexpected ways, though I still have some goals I'm reaching for. One that has stayed the same is my want for growth.
Growing as an artist and as a person is the main goal for my work. This doesn't have to mean monetization, and I'll be seeking out something more stable both in the meantime and in the future. BUT, very good monetization would mean I get to improve the equipment I use, the versatility of my craft, that sort of thing. So that's a thought.
But there you go!
