PERSONAL STATEMENT
PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am a 3-year Varsity Letter player. I had an opportunity to start Varsity as a FS in my sophomore year and because of team needs, I was moved to OLB junior year - a first-time role for me. In 2020 we had a modified season (6 games), and I was a defensive starter in all 6 games as part of a defense that held teams to an average of 9 points per game. My senior year I started at OLB in all 4 games until my season ended due to an ACL injury.
Football has taught me discipline, hard work, respect, responsibility, accountability, and other valuable life lessons. I am passionate about the game and working hard on and off the field. I am also grateful for all the support from my family, coaches, teammates and friends I have encountered thus far in my football career.
I am strong academically, I am strong physically, and I am strong mentally. When I set goals, I make it my mission to work hard to achieve them. I don't get distracted by things or people that don't align with my goals. I am willing to make sacrifices to get to the next level. I am a student of the game, always trying to find ways to improve, be more, do more, contribute more.
If you're looking for the hardest working guy for your team who is a team player, understands the game, and thrives on the commitment it takes to perform at the collegiate level--I'm your player.
