Hello, I’m Michelle—also known as Mimi.
I’ve been passionate about boxing since I first stepped into the ring at fifteen years old. What began as a goal to learn how to defend myself quickly grew into a lifelong dedication to the discipline, focus, and character building power of the sport.
With over 20 years of experience as a competitive athlete in boxing, I’ve earned titles including National Medalist, 2x Provincial Golden Gloves Champion, Silver Gloves Champion, Brampton Cup Champion, plus more. I’ve also been recognized as CTV Athlete of the Week and named Fighter of the Year at Sully’s Boxing Gym.
As a certified NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program) boxing coach, I specialize in creating effective and personalized boxing programs for all skill and fitness levels. My academic background includes a college certificate in Health and Nutrition, a college diploma as a Counsellor for Abused Women and Children, and a university bachelor’s degree in Disability Studies.
I’ve had the privilege of training under some of Canada’s top boxing coaches and alongside elite professional and amateur fighters, gaining a deep understanding of the sport’s technical and strategic side. My mission is to share that knowledge with you, helping you master the art of boxing, build physical and mental strength, gain confidence in your ability to defend yourself, and push beyond what you thought was possible.
Whether your goal is competition, fitness, or self-empowerment, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
