1. Introduction 

This Privacy Policy describes how the AthleteLog app ("app", "we", "our") collects, uses, and protects your data when you use our Android application.

By using the app, you agree to the terms of this policy.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Data You Provide

  - Athlete profile: age, weight, height, gender, fitness level

  - Athletic activities: sport type, duration, distance, speed, pace

  - Wellness Check-In: subjective feeling, sleep quality, day type, health status

  - Training goals

2.2 Data Collected Automatically

Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) Crash reports (stack traces) when the app encounters an error, along with device information (model, Android version) for debugging purposes. These do not contain personally identifiable information.

 Firebase Performance Monitoring (Google LLC) Anonymous app performance metrics such as load times and network latency.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

  - Provide app functionality (activity tracking, recovery score calculation)

  - Identify and fix bugs and crashes

  - Manage your subscription through Google Play

4. Data Storage

Local storage: Athletic activities, wellness check-ins, and recovery snapshots are stored locally on your device. They are never sent to our servers.  Firebase: Crash and performance data is stored on Google's servers in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

5. Sharing Data with Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except for the following service providers:

Google Firebase — used for crash reporting and performance monitoring. Privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

6. Data Security

Data stored on your device is protected by Android's built-in security mechanisms (app sandboxing). We do not operate a backend server, so your personal data is never exposed over a network.

7. Your Rights

You may delete all your data at any time by uninstalling the app.

8. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

 9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes within the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
