Hi I'm Athit Wu, currently a doctoral student at Department of German Studies, University of Vienna. My main research interests lie in the field of sociolinguistics: Language Variation, Sociophonetics, Linguistics and Semiotic Landscape both in German and Thai context
I graduated with B.A. in German and Linguistics (Honors program) from Chulalongkorn University in May 2023 and with M.A. in Linguistics in December 2025.
Master Thesis: The semiotic construction of a K-Pop fanscape in Thai public space: a case of K-Pop artist café in Bangkok
My master advisor is: Pavadee Saisuwan
My favorite hobbys these days are: 1) playing online games, 2) playing music instruments, 3) reading (mainly fiction), and 4) scuba diving.
