In my very first semester of college, I was diagnosed with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivitiy Disorder (ADHD). I already have an autoimmune condition called Hashimoto's thyroiditis, and hearing this new diagnosis just broke my soul. Not only is ADHD misunderstood greatly by society, but it was also very misunderstood by me. For a whole other semester, I denied my neurodivergence.
Below is a research paper proposal I wrote on developing an app-based diagnostic to better diagnose ADHD in women. It is a deeply personal topic, and I grew so much from embarking on this journey!
