Policies:

Our team is at your service 9am - 4pm Monday - Sunday. Even same day service available! Closed on and around major holidays.
We walk up to 2 dogs. Got more dogs? Schedule a second walk! No pack walks, no off leash, no worries about other dogs!
An assessment & access to your dawg house is all we need to get started.

About us

As an UGA graduate, I am proud to use my B.B.A to serve dogs of fellow Dawgs. Ok, non - UGA grads welcome too, unless you wear orange :)

Our team of walkers will send you fun pics & a report card from each walk, will secure your home at departure and will wash & refill water bowls daily.

Our family lives in Oconee county and consists of our favorite furry family member, a GA Bent Tail named Buddy- & his 2 kitty siblings & 2 human sisters

What to expect:

After creating an account, please add information like your address and a profile on each of your dogs. All pricing information is there too.

Our walks are 25 minutes or 90 minutes and occur Monday - Friday 9am -4pm. If you need something different, please ask and we can point you to resource to help! We can come for walks even if you are home or if you have another service caring for your pets. We even go to boarding facilities to walk dogs!

Please schedule an assessment & have a way for us to access your home daily. We do not keep keys. We can provide a lockbox for your key ($20) but a garage / door code works too. During our assessment we will go on a brief 10 min walk. We are not expecting excellent leash behavior, just want to make friends! If leash behavior is an issue, it will improve with our walks!

Each Friday, we will run the card on file for any walks the previous Friday - Thursday.

We work as a team. Who you meet at assessment may not be your walker but all are experienced, insured and will send you a report card and pics of tails waggin & tongues draggin' from every walk.

You are welcome to email Melinda@athenspetsitter.com or text/call 706.254.5232 but communicating through our system is our preference as we are mostly walking dogs and resting up to walk dogs again!
