About the Speaker: Professor Georgios Kavoulakis is a Full Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Hellenic Mediterranean University. He studied Physics at the University of Crete and earned his PhD at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. His research focuses on ultracold atomic systems, superfluidity, solitons, and reduced-dimensional quantum physics.
