Seat wedge
We made a seat wedge by measuring our pieces of cardboard, cutting them, scoring them, and folding them together. By using hot glue, tapes, and pegs, our sides were able to maintain stability and hold together. To seal all ends, we used tape to cover areas where water could get in. Seat wedges can help raise a person in a chair, as well as provide stability.

Prone standing frame
To make a prone standing frame, we measured and cut the sides pieces and glued two pieces of cardboard together for sturdiness. We then cut the side pieces to have a slanted side. I measured and cut a piece of cardboard for the front, top, and back of the frame and scored it so I could easily fold it. Pegs helped ensure the frame would hold together. I also cut a rectangle for feet, and two holes for thigh straps. By chiseling a layer of cardboard for the base, the frame easily sat in it. Lastly, I sealed all open edges with tape.

Rocking perch
For the rocking perch, I cut out two side pieces, glued them together, and cut them in half. Then I cut the bottom at an angle and rounded the top using a paper plate as a template. The top rounded area is what allows a patient to rock back and forth. To assemble the rocking perch, I cut a main piece. For extra stability, I added pegs into the sides, and single-wall cardboard. Finally, I sealed all edges with tape to ensure no water could enter.

Footrest
The footrest was a multi-day project, each utilizing something different. On the first day, I built the footrest. I cut side pieces while focusing on the direction of the grain, bottom and top pieces, as well as internal support pieces. For reinforcement, I added pegs and tape. Then, I sealed the edges with tape and applied primer to all but one side. Next class, I added primer to the side that did not have any, and painted all but one side white. At the third class, I covered the unpainted side with white paint, and applied polyurethane to all but one side. At the fourth and final week, I applied polyurethane to the uncovered side. The polyurthane shines and hardens the exterior.
