By downloading, installing, or using Athan ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Overview

Athan is a prayer times, adhan and Qibla application for iPhone and Android. The App is developed and maintained by an independent developer ("we", "us", "our").

2. Prayer Times and Qibla Are Estimates

Prayer times are calculated astronomically from your location and the calculation method you choose, and the Qibla direction from your location and your phone's compass. Results can differ from your local mosque's timetable and can be affected by location accuracy, magnetic interference and device sensors. Please confirm times with your local mosque or community, and use the adjustment settings to match them.

3. Alerts

Alerts depend on the phone's notification and alarm permissions, Focus or Do Not Disturb settings, battery and other device conditions outside our control. We cannot guarantee that every alert will play. Open the App regularly so it can keep alerts scheduled.

4. Free App

The App is provided free of charge, without advertising or in-app purchases.

5. Intellectual Property

The App's design, code and artwork belong to the developer. Adhan recordings remain the property of their respective owners.

6. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the App, including missed or inaccurate prayer times.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
