The Alabama Teacher Growth Program replaced EducateAlabama as the state agency supporting teacher effectiveness. The resources on this page can be used to support classroom observers' use of the Alabama Teacher Observation Tool (ATOT) and classroom teachers' implementation of the Alabama Core Teaching Standards (ACTS).

Facilitates Use of Resources to Support Learners' Needs - In this video, the teacher uses a variety of resources (print, digital, and human) to support students' active engagement while learning about a high school biology topic.
Provides Learners with Purposeful Feedback About Their Progress - In this video, the teacher moves about the room formatively assessing her students' ability to identify key details and find the main idea.
