Expeditions see citizens of the Colony venture out into the Frostscape in search of supplies and resources. They target specific locations, as they are uncovered, and take a number of days dependent on how far the adventurers are going.
Mechanically, Expeditions see a number of players take Manpower and other Resources from the Colony and off to a separate theatre of the play - the Foreign Theatre.
Here, the group will likely face new challenges, special events and difficult decisions to make.
When on an expedition, players are physically removed from the Colony Theatre and are not impacted by, nor can they impact, events which may occur in their absence.
