korean Music Shows determine digital scores by how much a song is charting in the following streaming sites
- GENIE - MELON
- SORIBADA - NAVER VIBE
- BUGS - FLO
Charting is based on the amount of streams and downloads a song gets but know that each platform has its own criterias and limitations. So far every platform except Flo and Melon considers one stream per hour per ID for their charts. Flo and Melon are daily charts meaning they consider the number of unique listeners from the last 24 hours.
To have an idea of how important digitals are this is the percentage they hold for each music show criteria
THE SHOW: 40%
SHOW CHAMPION: 50%
MCOUNTDOWN: 45%
MUSIC BANK: 65%
MUSIC CORE: 50%
INKIGAYO: 55%
NOTE: Itunes, Spotify, Pandora and Google Music do not help with wins!
In order to stream from any of these platforms you must have a streaming pass. A pass is basicially a subscription/premium fee you pay in order to stream and/or download songs. Prices can vary from $8 to $26 US dollars depending on the platform and type of pass you purchase.
Another form of streaming is through shared links which will be posted on @ateez_charts twitter. One free link 1000 availabe streams. NO pass is needed from the streamers. All you need is an account.
A whole lot...
Since most platforms count one stream per hour in order to chart we need a MASS number of Atinys streaming at the same time. The larger the amount of streamers in a time-lapse of an hour the greater the impact.
Another aspect to consider is that unique listeners are very important aswell. Unique listeners are people who listen to the song for the first time. When artists continue to recieve a large amount of unique listeners even after weeks/months of cb release its from people who aren't following them or constantly streaming their music. For us to get a hold of the general public its important that Atinys create a lot of hype for Ateez's comeback. This way we can have many people interested in actually checking them out.
