BIOGRAPHY 

Ataraxis is an alt rock trio from Akron, Ohio. Founded in 2019, the band has variety of influences across a span of multiple genres from Led Zeppelin and Van Halen, to pop punk bands like Green Day and Blink 182, to grunge bands like Alice In Chains and Nirvana. The band’s current lineup consists of Steven Sowards— Guitar/Vocals, Zaine Swann— Bass Guitar, and finally Al Gonzales-Drums. Ataraxis has released 5 full length albums (Stargazing, Reflection, Introspection and Astral Antidote, and Zero Gravity) with hit singles "Going For A Drive"  and "Party On Friday" with a feature on 107.3 FM in January 2024 . The band has hosted sold out shows in Akron, Canton, Cleveland, New York City, Virginia Beach,  Washington D.C., Columbus, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis and more.
