Application Process

Welcome to the online application for the Academy of Technology & Advanced Manufacturing (ATAM) at Cary High School for the 2026–2027 school year.

Only students who are districted to and assigned to Cary High School are eligible to apply. In accordance with WCPSS policy, applications from students not assigned to Cary High School cannot be considered for admission to the program.

ATAM is a four-year, immersive program where students develop technical, employability, and essential skills in technology, engineering, and advanced manufacturing. Students take core and technical classes together as a cohort in this smaller learning community. 

As part of the application process, applicants must request references from two teachers and/or counselors. These references are not written letters; instead, the referees will complete a short questionnaire submitted directly to the ATAM coordinator, Mr. Savulescu.
