Students of BGS National Public School participated in an online session organized by the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) on the theme “AI for Society” on 28th April 2026. Six student teams confidently presented innovative projects. Faculty members also shared inspiring presentations on innovation, sustainability, and the ATL journey. The AIM experts appreciated the creativity, innovation, and presentation skills displayed by both students and teachers. The session served as a valuable platform for young innovators to showcase their ideas and reinforced the school's commitment to nurturing creativity, problem-solving, and social responsibility through technology.

The projects showcased were:

MAY MONTH

 The Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) provided an opportunity for our students to showcase their talents during a special online session held on Tuesday, 12th May 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

 This   session is to encouraging students to present innovative ideas that could positively impact society through technology and artificial intelligence.

From our school, five teams participated and presented their projects with great confidence and enthusiasm. The projects showcased were:

9. Misha Agarwal (Grade X) – Mindlink

10. Sidhanth Tiwari  (Grade VIII) – Aura flow bottle

The GCC Conclave on Innovation 2026, jointly organized by Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog and Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), was held on 24 June 2026 at Novotel Bengaluru. The conclave brought together educators, innovators, startup leaders, industry experts, and members of the innovation ecosystem under the theme “Catalyzing Collaboration, Innovation and Growth.”

The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Shri. Dr. Sanjay Tyagi, Shri Arvind Kumar, Director General, STPI; Dr. Deepak Bagla, Mission Director, Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog.

The speakers emphasized the importance of fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry-academia collaboration to address real-world challenges. They highlighted the significant role of Atal Tinkering Labs in nurturing young innovators and creating a culture of problem-solving among students.

Dr. Malini Dutta, Principal, BGS National Public School emphasized that many student-developed innovations possess immense potential and can create meaningful social and economic impact. Mam, further stressed that such innovations require stronger industry support, mentorship, funding, and market linkages to transform promising prototypes into commercially viable products and solutions.

The conclave also featured discussions on emerging technologies, startup ecosystems, incubation support, and opportunities for collaboration between educational institutions, industry partners, and innovation hubs. The sessions provided valuable insights into building sustainable innovation ecosystems and empowering young minds to become future entrepreneurs and change-makers.

The conclave served as an enriching platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and exploring collaborative opportunities, reinforcing the collective vision of strengthening India's innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The Valedictory Function of the Eco-Innovators Bootcamp 2026, the flagship summer initiative of the ATL Sarthi Cluster Schools, Bengaluru, was held on 18th June 2026. The five-week bootcamp, conducted from 15th April to 20th May 2026, provided students with an opportunity to explore innovative solutions to urban waste management challenges and create meaningful environmental impact in their communities.

The program witnessed enthusiastic participation, with 350 teams registering from various schools. Following a rigorous evaluation process, 7 teams were shortlisted as finalists, of which 4 teams from BGS National Public School secured a place among the finalists.
The Eco-Innovators Bootcamp concluded on a high note, with two student teams being recognized as Impactful Change Makers and two teams earning the title of Budding Change Makers for their innovative ideas, commitment, and efforts towards addressing environmental challenges.

A total of 11 students from BGS National Public School were recognized for their outstanding performance and were felicitated with certificates and cash awards. The achievements of the students reflected their creativity, commitment, and problem-solving abilities in addressing real-world environmental concerns.
