This privacy policy applies to the Aswaq Forwarder app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created by Artiq Design (hereby referred to as "Service Provider"). This service is provided free of charge and is intended for use "AS IS."

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects only the information necessary to provide its services and functionalities. Specifically:

• User Information: The Application requires users to log in using a username, password, and company code. This data is used for authentication purposes and to provide access to the appropriate features.
  
  

• Product Data: When using the application, users (employees) can create, upload, and manage product data, including QR codes, product weights, photos, and tracking numbers. This data is used solely for product tracking and management within the Application.
  
  

The Service Provider does not collect or store any personally identifiable information (PII) beyond what is necessary for login and product management. The Application does not collect sensitive data like location, device information (such as IP address), or any other PII.

The Service Provider may use the information provided to contact users with important updates, notifications, and other app-related information, including but not limited to push notifications sent via Expo Push Notifications using Firebase.

Expo Push Notifications via Firebase

The Application uses Expo Push Notifications, which is powered by Firebase, to send notifications to users. The only information collected for this purpose is a Push Token, a unique identifier for your device, used for delivering notifications.

No personal information or tracking data is collected or shared by Firebase for the purpose of sending notifications.

Third-Party Access

The Application may utilize third-party services to improve the functionality of the app. These services may process data in an aggregated, anonymized form. The Service Provider shares only the necessary data with these services for this purpose. Please note that these third-party services have their own privacy policies that govern how your data is handled.

External Third-Party Services Used by the Application:

• Google Play Services (for Firebase and other necessary services)
  
  

The Service Provider may disclose User-Provided and Automatically Collected Information in the following cases:

• As required by law (e.g., compliance with a subpoena or similar legal process)
  
  

• To protect their rights, the safety of users, or to investigate fraud
  
  

• With trusted service providers who work on behalf of the Service Provider, and who have agreed to adhere to this privacy policy.
  
  

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by uninstalling the Application. You can use the standard uninstall process available on your mobile device or through your app marketplace.

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider will retain user data (such as username, password, and company code) for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time afterward. If you wish to delete any data, including user-provided product data, you can contact the Service Provider at aswaqforwarder@gmail.com, and they will respond in a reasonable time.

Children

The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Application is not directed at anyone under the age of 13, and the Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If it is discovered that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will promptly delete this data from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider at aswaqforwarder@gmail.com to enable necessary actions.

Security

The Service Provider is committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. Physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards are implemented to protect the data the Service Provider processes and maintains.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new policy. You are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy regularly. Continued use of the Application signifies your acceptance of any changes.
