I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Code Design and Analysis lab, Department of Electrical Communication Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, under the guidance of Prof. Navin Kashyap. My research area is broadly quantum error correction and quantum fault tolerance. I am a Cycle-9 Prime Minister's Research Fellow (PMRF).

Work Experience:
2021-2022 Camera Systems Engineer at Qualcomm:
I have been working on the simulation of the camera pipeline of Qualcomm's premium and value tier chipsets in C++ for optimizing system parameters and image quality. I have worked on features such as Multi-frame HDR, staggered HDR, Depth Mapping, Chromatic Abberation correction etc.
2019-2021: Modem System Testing Engineer at Qualcomm
I worked on improving the RF performance of Modems in LTE and NR RATs. The Job involved root cause analysis on the logs, figuring out reasons for performance degradations and finding a fix by working with multiple teams. Idle mode measurement accuracy improvement and non-linear interference cancellation are two key features I worked on.

Implemented a real-time face recognition system on resource-constrained environment of a microcontroller. The dimensionality reduction is done with FaceNet: a CNN of inception architecture trained with triplet-loss loss-function. The network was implemented in Python-TensorFlow framework with use of OpenCV and trained over LFW dataset. The trained network coefficient were copied and used on the micro-controller. An SVM model is used for classification.

Training-free Super-resolution Techniques for Feature Extraction in Images
Implemented a dynamic CNN model, trained with data from the image pyramid generated from the input image through Gaussian decomposition, to give high-resolution images with finer details.
A signal of higher resolution must contain faster-varying components and hence should have a higher order of regularity. A new method was proposed from this concept, by increasing the order of regularity based on multi-resolution analysis, named Super-Resolution through Analytic Extension of Signal Space.
Linear Predictive Speech Coding and Synthesis
Designed and implemented a linear predictive speech coding model by assuming a 10 pole auto-aggressive system approximation for the vocal cords. Realized prediction error filter and synthesis filter on a digital signal processor through Levinson's recursion algorithm by implementing lattice structures and achieved a compression ratio of 17:1.
