Asustor Download Assistant

I'm playing around with a 4 nvme ssd raid 5 array but a bunch of various nvme i had complained that trim did not work under raid 5 for each specific brand of nvme. Samsung, Teamgroup, Silicone power. Does anyone know if trim is required for a raid 5 array? If it is anyone know of cheaper ssd that support trim under raid 5? I'm using just a 2 bay asustor lockerstore gen 2 unit.

Up to this point I've been running UR on DIY intel hardware(i5, 16GB RAM Array: 2x12TB, Pool: 2x1TB Nvme, Cache: 1TB SSD, 30 containers running all of my family needs(home assistant, plex, sonarr, nextcloud, vaultwarden etc, etc) and 3 VMs (for fun) The server clocks in at an average of about 35-40W, which isnt bad - but I think I could do better ?

I have always been a big believer in the converging technology trend since the turn of the millennium.
