About Me

I am a Middle-Eastern American, Adult-learner, and Urban Studies major running to be your next ASUCI President. For most of my college career, I have balanced working a full-time schedule while attending classes in my off time. The past decade has honed my time management, communication, and leadership skills. I can attribute many of these skills to starting my own business.

When running a business, it is imperative to be able to identify what priorities are the most urgent. I had to effectively communicate with others, and learn how to adapt my communication styles with different individuals. I learned the importance of goal setting with results accountability. I found value in networking and finding mentors, who could assist me and answer questions along the way. Most important of all I learned that I can do anything that I set my mind to. At the age of 20, I had the vision to build a mobile application. By age 21 I had done my market research, assembled a team, set goals, and accomplished them by getting the app published on both The Apple App Store and Google Play. My life lessons and industry knowledge will help better prepare every student for life after graduation.

As ASUCI President, I intend to advocate for sustainable and ethical solutions, financial literacy, and improved inclusion, collaboration, and networking for the entire student body. I am excited to start my new journey to be your next President.
