This privacy policy (“Policy”) informs you of your choices and our practices in relation to your Personal Information (as defined below). In this Policy, “AstroTech”, “we” or “us” refers to AstroTech Studio Private Limited.
For the purpose of this Policy, “Personal Information” or “personal information” means data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data, or from that data and other information to which an organisation has or is likely to have access, or as otherwise defined under any applicable data protection law. This includes Personal Information relating to your use of our mobile games (“Mobile Games” or the “Game”); and (b) any dedicated AstroTech websites which link to this policy (“Website”). When you use the Game, you accept our rules and policies which set out how we handle your Personal Information, and you understand we collect, process, use, disclose and/or transfer and store your Personal Information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, you must not play the Game. If you change your mind in the future, you must stop playing the Game and you may exercise your rights in relation to your Personal Information as set out in this Policy.
We may collect and use the following Personal Information about you:
Personal identifiers: e.g. your name; username and profile photographs used when playing the Game;
Contact information: e.g. email address, telephone number, and/or address;
Gameplay information: e.g. information related to how you interact with other users of the Game and how you play the Game in general;
Location information: e.g. IP address, device ID, app ID subject to applicable law;
Marketing and communications information: e.g. communication preferences and preferences for receipt of marketing material;
Transaction information: e.g., transaction and/or payment information where applicable and subject to applicable law;
Any other personal data that you may provide to us for any reason whatsoever.
We will collect Personal Information from you through the following channels:
When you register for an account with us or play the Game or use any other electronic services provided by us;
When you grant device permissions to share information with us;
When you submit any form or enter into any agreement with us;
When you interact with us when playing the Game, participating in any Game-specific events or competitions, communicating with other players in the Game, contacting us via our customer support channels for support or feedback;
When you carry out transactions through the Game or our authorised third party sellers or the different app stores;
Associated or linked accounts or other third-party applications: e.g. social media accounts linked to the Game, analytics information, information from advertisement partners;
Cookies: We use cookies and other similar technologies (e.g. web beacons, log files, scripts and eTags) (“Cookies”) to enhance your experience when using the Games. Cookies are small files which, when placed on your device, enable us to provide certain features and functionality. We may link Cookies with your Personal Information, or other information that we have collected from you. You have the option to permit installation of such Cookies or subsequently disable them. You may accept all cookies, or instruct the device or web browser to provide notice at the time of installation of Cookies, or refuse to accept all Cookies by adjusting the relevant cookie retention function in your device. However, in the event of your refusal to install Cookies, the Game may be unable to operate as designed.
If you are a user in India, we do not collect any of your financial information including any payment, bank account or billing details. We also do not collect any other sensitive personal data or information (“SPDI”) as defined under the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or India) Rules, 2011. We do not receive any financial information from any third parties with whom you transact to purchase Virtual Currency or Virtual Items. We may only receive SPDI pursuant to any information or content that you choose to submit or upload while using our Services or where third parties to whom you have provided such information do so. You hereby consent to such incidental collection of SPDI by us and its processing in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
THIRD PARTY WEBSITES AND GAMES
Note that the Games may contain links to websites or other services owned and operated by third parties. This includes games run by others that are embedded into our Website so they look like they are on our site, but are actually on the site of a third party developer. If you are playing a third party developer game, we notify you through a pop-up when you access the game. We encourage you to review the privacy and cookie policies of these third parties for information about how they use your information.
CHILDREN
Our Games are not intended for children under 13 years of age (“Children”), and we do not intend or knowingly collect or maintain any Personal Information from any Children in the Game. Where Children use the Game, they must obtain the permission of a parent or guardian, and we recommend that parents or guardians clear their browser cache of cookies and take all other steps highlighted in this Policy to minimise the data collected. Any permission obtained by a parent or guardian to play the Game is, to the extent permissible under law, deemed to be consent by the parent or guardian for the processing of the Children’s Personal Information.
We use your Information to:
Provide you with the Game: e.g. perform our contractual obligation towards you to allow you to create an account, play the Game (including as a guest) and remember your progress, allow you to make Game-related purchases and maintain a record of such purchases.
Improve and monitor Game use: It is in our legitimate interests to improve our Games for our customers. When doing so, we may collect information we automatically collect or is generated about you when you play the Game, as well as non-personal information about your device such as battery, Wi-Fi strength, device manufacturer, model and operating system, and the amount of free space on your device.
Provide you with support and to respond to your requests or complaints: If you reach out to us for support, we will use your Information to create a support account for you, respond and resolve your queries and complaints, facilitate support (e.g. retrieval of a forgotten password). When doing so, we perform our contractual obligation towards you. The Personal Information we process when doing so includes your registration information, your identifiers, non-personal information about your device such as your Wi-Fi strength and the amount of free space on your device, and any other information about you collected via our customer support channels.
Conduct analytics: It is in our legitimate interests to analyse the use of the Game, newsletters and advertising campaigns, and any other interaction or interest in the same. When doing so we will process information we automatically collect or is generated about you when you play the Game or interact with our newsletters and advertising campaigns to (a) create anonymised and aggregated data; (b) create segments of users who show particular characteristics or interests; and (c) conduct predictive analytics about your interests.
Send you updates about in-Game offers and our other products and services that may be of interest to you: We will send you promotional offers, and information about other products and services that may be of interest to you. Where it is required, we will only do so where we have your consent. We do so via email, push notification or in Game. Your consent can be withdrawn at any time by following the unsubscribe mechanism in each communication or by adjusting your device settings for push notifications.
Provide you with advertising: We will present you with ads and suggestions in the Game and elsewhere. These may be ads relating to the Game or other services you may be interested in. These ads and suggestions may be tailored specifically to you. If you no longer want to receive targeted advertising you can withdraw your consent. To tailor ads and to allow our advertising partners to tailor ads, we may process information we automatically collect or is generated about you when you play the Games and information received from third parties.
Protect against legal claims and illegal activities, and enforce our terms and to comply with our legal obligations: It is in our legitimate interests to protect our users against online abuse and other anti-social or illegal activity. It is also in our legitimate interest to protect our interests by (1) monitoring the Game use to detect fraud or any other user behaviour which prejudices the integrity of the Game; (2) taking steps to remedy aforementioned fraud and behaviour; (3) defending ourselves against or responding to any legal claims or disputes or regulatory governmental requests or orders; and (4) enforcing our terms and policies. When doing so, we will process the Information relevant in such a case, including information you provide us, information we automatically collect about you, and information which is provided to us by third parties.
Conduct surveys: From time to time, we may ask you to participate in surveys we conduct which are in our legitimate interest as they help us understand our userbase and improve the Games. If you choose to participate, we process your registration information and any other information collected through the survey questions.
We share your Personal Information with selected third parties, including:
Other players and users will see your profile information and in-game activities, as well as any other information you choose to share with them, such as chat data;
Vendors and service providers we rely on for the provision of the Games, for example:
Cloud or server-based service providers who we rely on for data storage;
Customer support solution providers;
Analytics providers;
Social media;
User acquisition partners;
Advertising partners;
Payment processors;
Third party developers;
Our affiliated companies and subsidiaries;
Law enforcement agencies, public authorities or other judicial bodies and organisations; and
As part of a change of corporate ownership (e.g. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, reorganisation, partnership, asset sale or other transaction, we may disclose your Information as part of that transaction).
THIRD PARTY PRIVACY PRACTICES
If you access the Game through a third party platform such as Facebook or Google (“Third Party Services”), you must understand that those Third Party Services may collect other information about you (including information you share with them directly or about your use of the Game) in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies. The privacy practices described in this Policy do not apply to Third Party Services. Any links in the Game to Third Party Services do not imply that we endorse or have reviewed the Third Party Services.
SECURITY
Although we have in place security measures to maintain the privacy and integrity of your Personal Information, unfortunately, the transmission of Information via the internet is not completely secure.
Your Personal Information may be kept for as long as you are registered or using the Game and (i) the purpose for which that personal data was collected is being served by the retention of such personal data; (ii) retention is necessary for any legal or business purposes; and (iii) another legitimate interest warrants further retention of such personal data.
Your Personal Information may be transferred to, stored or processed outside of your country. In most cases, your Personal Information will be processed in Singapore, where our servers are located and our central database is operated. If you are a user in India, your personal data will be processed and stored in our servers in India or Singapore, and you hereby consent to such transfer and processing. We will only transfer your information overseas in accordance with the applicable privacy laws.

Access: You have the right to access Information, and to receive an explanation of how we use it and who we share it with. This right is not absolute. For example, we cannot reveal trade secrets, or give you Information about other individuals.
Erasure: You have the right to request deletion of your Information. We may need to retain some of your Information where there are valid grounds for us to do so under data protection laws. For example, for the defence of legal claims, respect freedom of expression, or where we have an overriding legitimate interest to do so, but we will let you know when this is the case. Note that where the Information is held by a third party data controller, such as an advertising partner or a payment processor, we will use reasonable steps to inform them of your request, but we recommend you contact them directly in accordance with their own privacy policies regarding such requests.
Objection and withdrawal of consent: You have the right to (i) withdraw your consent where you previously provided such consent; or (ii) object to our processing of your Information where we process such Information on the basis of our legitimate interests (see above under How we use your personal information). Note that if you withdraw your consent to processing of your Personal Information, we may no longer be able to provide our services or Games to you. You may exercise this right as follows:

To stop receiving push notifications: Please change your device or browser settings.
Correction: You have the right to correct any Information held about you that is inaccurate.
Restriction: You have a right in certain circumstances to stop us processing Information other than for storage purposes.
