Recent events

• WholeSun scientific meeting, IPa, Paris, March 3-21, 2025. Nine group members participated in the meeting and presented their work.

• WholeSun scientific meeting, IAC, Tenerife, October 21-25, 2024. Five group members participated in the meeting and presented their work.

• Dr. Dimitris Vasileiadis, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), USA, visited the Department of Physics and the  Astronomy Lab on November 11, 2024 and gave a seminar in the Deparment of Physics.

• The Astronomy Lab co-organized  an event in honour of Serge Koutchmy and his scientific achievements, marking one year since his passing   "Solar Eclipses from Past to Today and the Contribution of Serge Koutchmy",  on 17th October 2024.

• Dr. Jean-Claude Vial, Institut d'Astrophysique Spatiale - Université Paris-Saclay, France, visited the Department of Physics and the Astronomy Lab on 15th October 2024 for collaborative work with Lab members. 

• 17th European Solar Physics Meeting, ESPM-17, 9-13 September 2024, Turin, Italy. Five group members participated in the meeting and presented their work.

• 5th Summer School of the Hellenic Astronomical Society, 16-20 of September 2024, hosted by Lab.
