Nancy Grace Roman ("Roman") Space Telescope launched just recently on Aug. 30, 2026! It is currently headed toward L2 where it will study the universe in the visible and infrared parts of the spectrum. Its extensive field of view and advanced instruments are designed to answer some of the most intriguing questions about dark energy, exoplanets & infrared astrophysics.
