Astroma ("the App") is developed and operated by Sashitosh Das("the Developer," "I," "me," or "my"). This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Astroma mobile application.
To provide accurate astrological insights and manage your credit balance, I collect the following:
Birth Data: Date of birth, exact time of birth, and place of birth. This is used solely to calculate your astrological charts.
Account Information: Your email address (if you register) to track your credit balance (e.g., 100 free registration credits, purchased recharges).
Usage Data: Information on how you interact with the AI (questions asked and reports generated) to improve the AI's accuracy.
Device Information: IP address, device model, and operating system version for security and fraud prevention.
Personalization: To generate the AI-driven astrology reports and answers you request.
Credit Management: To manage your credit recharges ($5 for 50 credits, etc.) and ensure your balance is accurate across devices.
App Improvement: To analyze which features are used most often to better the user experience.
I do not sell your personal data. However, I use trusted third-party services to make the app functional:
Google Play Billing: All financial transactions ($5, $10, $19 tiers) are handled securely by Google. I do not see or store your credit card details.
AI Service Providers: Your questions (without birth data where possible) may be processed by AI models (like Gemini or OpenAI) to generate responses.
Analytics: I may use tools like Google Analytics for Firebase to monitor app crashes and usage patterns.
Retention: I keep your data as long as your account is active to maintain your credit history and saved charts.
Deletion: You can request data deletion at any time by contacting me at astromaone@gmail.com. Upon request, I will delete your birth data and account info within 30 days.
Astroma is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU). I do not knowingly collect data from children. If I become aware of such data, I will delete it immediately.
I implement industry-standard security measures to protect your birth data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
I may update this policy from time to time. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date above.
