What do Astro Collective executives/members do within the organization?

The Astro Collective currently has many new and exciting plans! Executive role descriptions can be found on the application form and our Instagram. Volunteers can choose departments to work in to assist the growth of our community and our goals of promoting science outreach. 

Is there a cost associated with joining?

Not at all! The Astro Collective strives to promote free opportunities to anyone interested in participating!

What is the age range for the Astro Collective?

We serve the youth - typically high schoolers or the equivalent! We aim to promote outreach for even younger kids in events, members and executives should meet high schooler age requirements! 

Are events in-person or online? Is it mandatory to attend?

Unless barred by physical limitations (e.g. out of state, not within the country) members and executives should be able to make important events! Everything else is online-based and does not require a physical presence. 

What is the time commitment?

Volunteers should expect at least a few hours of dedication each week and each department varies regarding time. Executives will be expected to commit additional time. 

Can businesses and other organizations partner with you?

Yes of course! The Astro Collective is constantly striving to promote connections especially in the social networks, partnering will bring a multitude of opportunities and partnerships.
