AstroCam is an astrophotography camera application that allows users to capture long-exposure night sky images, stack multiple frames. AstroCam focuses on providing a smooth, adjustable, and high-quality astrophotography experience. AstroCam does not store or share user images, and all captured media remains on the user's device.
We do not collect or share any of your personal data with any third parties. The app may access the device camera and storage to capture and save images required for astrophotography and frame stacking. This access is used solely to deliver the core functionality of the app.
Permissions
AstroCam requires access to your device camera to capture long-exposure astrophotography images. The camera is only accessed while the app is in active use. No images are captured in the background or without your direct interaction.
AstroCam requires access to your device's storage to save stacked astrophotography images to your gallery. Images created by the app are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded, stored on external servers, or shared. We respect your privacy and ensure that your data is handled securely.
AstroCam may request permission to send notifications on Android 13 and above. Notifications are used solely to show the progress of image processing while the app is running in the foreground.
We use AdMob from Google to display ads in our app.
AdMob may collect data and use the device's Advertising ID to serve personalized ads based on user interests.
