I am a motivated registered nurse with 6+ years of experience in an intense, high-acuity orthopedic unit. I have exhibited professional leadership by assuming the charge nurse role, precepting newly employed nurses, and participating in unit-based councils. I am well-versed in developing individualized care plans for pain management and post-operative complications. I also have a research background, specifically database management and interview-based human qualitative studies, in clinical and non-clinical settings. I am seeking further professional development by enrolling in a master's level NP program to become a nurse leader in preventative medicine.
