This is the Privacy Policy for Asteroid War, the ultimate arcade war in space with superior graphics, sounds and game experience available on Google Play at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=arnaud.desombre.asteroidwar. Asteroid War is developed by independent programmer Arnaud Desombre (please contact me at asteroidwar@gmail.com).

By using Asteroid War, you agree with this Privacy Policy; If you do not agree, do not use Asteroid War.

ASTEROID WAR - PRIVACY POLICY

Asteroid War is FREE, AD-FREE, APPLICATION TRACKER FREE.

Asteroid War does not track, collect or log any data or information about you or how you use Asteroid War.

The specific Android permissions requested at installation and used by Asteroid War are:

MICROPHONE: Allow Asteroid War to record audio?

Because you can fire “voice activated” missiles during play, Asteroid War listens for microphone activity and reacts to high microphone amplitude.

Asteroid War does not create any record of the microphone activity and cannot be used as a recording device in any way.

You can deny the permission. If you do, the “voice activated” missiles will be disabled, but the game will otherwise run perfectly. The feature can be enabled later by authorizing Microphone from your device Settings menu.

STORAGE: Allow Asteroid War to access photos, media, and files on your device?

At the end of each game, you have the option to share your end-screen with your final score through any communication registered with your device (email, instant message, social media…)

Until version 5.0 (included):

Asteroid War created the picture “asteroid_war.jpg” on the picture folder of your device and offered you the choice among all communication methods possible.

Starting version 6.0:

Asteroid War does not create any picture on your device, and does not access its storage anymore, hence the permission is not requested anymore. (The sharing of end-screen is unaffected.)

Android War does not monitor any of your sharing activity, and does not track, collect or log any data or information on any of your contacts.

Two other permissions are used by Asteroid War. These permissions are automatically granted to all the apps on your device upon request, and it is not possible to revoke them.

INTERNET: Allow Asteroid War to access the Internet?

Through the “Help” and the “Credits” screens, you can access specific websites (for example Facebook, Google Play or Wikipedia), and browse the Internet from there on.

Asteroid War does not monitor any of your Internet activity.

VIBRATE: Allow Asteroid War to vibrate the device?

If your phone/device has a vibrator, Asteroid War will make it vibrate when your ship is destroyed. This is not a privacy issue.
