Our Founding Story
In 2023, Lucie and Michelle founded Asteria Investments: an
international, female-led investment community. We were
struck by the lack of female representation in finance and
wanted to challenge the stereotype that investing is a male-
dominated field.
Although we quickly gained recognition by placing 4th out
of 48 teams in the B&R Beurs Investment Competition, our
vision always extended beyond performance. We wanted to
build a community that makes finance and investing more
accessible while empowering women with the confidence,
knowledge, and opportunities to grow.
Today, Asteria is more than an investment group. It's a
community where women learn together, support one
another, and share a passion for investing. Our mission has
always been to create a space where women can thrive in
a field where they remain underrepresented.

As current Board it is our mission to grow and lead Asteria so that our members feel supported and can learn in a safe space.
We are currently creating Asteria as it's own legal entity to be able to offer our members more opportunities to learn and thrive. While doing this we want to continue and build on Asteria's mission to create a space for women to thrive in an underrepresented field.
