Australian Schools Teams Championship

ASTC 2025

Welcome to this year's Australian School Teams Championship, to be held in Melbourne on 6-7 December 2025. This event pits the winning schools of each state against each other to determine the Australian Schools Team Champion in various divisions. This event is organized by the Box Hill Chess Club. We are excited to hold this event and look forward to welcoming all our top school teams and their players from around the country into our beautiful state. 

The competition has 4 sections:

• The Australian Secondary Schools Open Team Championship

• The Australian Secondary Schools Girls' Team Championship

• The Australian Primary Schools Open Team Championship

• The Australian Primary Schools Girls' Team Championship. 

This competition is open to selected schools from each state. If you are interested in knowing about the qualification process for your state, please contact your local organizers.
