Assure Solar Work & Contractor first began In 2017 at the Operation Friendship development agency when founder Shavon Allen was given the assignment of creating a business name, logo and cash now projection. The business name was first decided to be Assure Electrical Work which was inspired by the concept of "quality assurance'", an aspect of business that Allen saw as playing a large role in satisfying the needs or customers. However, not tong after, Allen over heard a report on the shortage of businesses in the local renewable industry and the corresponding unmet demand. This motivated him to pivot his business to this area. Seeking training in solar installation and maintenance and renaming the business to what exists today.
