Whether this is your first, fifth, or last online undergraduate course, I hope it will be enjoyable for you - and a little different from other classes you've taken. Assistive technology is a challenging topic to teach online - but I'm looking forward to the opportunity to learn with you.
Our semester is divided into 4 sections spread out over 19 days. The section date will indicates the day we will begin each new section. You will be expected to complete all tasks for a section before the next date. For example: Tasks assigned on June 5th will be due June 12th and so on. This format helps to keep you on track but leaves our course flexible enough so that you can work around jobs, families, vacations, internships, etc. Please keep in mind that this is an asynchronous course and you will need to schedule time in your weekly schedule to work on tasks. You'll be completing about 4 weeks worth of tasks for each section so you don't want to wait until the last minute.
New set of tasks are posted on our website generally on Thursdays (with the exception of week 3 because of a University holiday on Thursday)
Tasks are due on the following Thursday at the end of the day for Units 1 and 3 and on the following Wednesday at the end of the day for Units 2 and 4.
Graded tasks are returned as soon as possible, grades available in eLC
