Google Lookout

Google Lookout is an accessibility app designed to assist students who are blind or visually impaired. It uses artificial intelligence and the camera on a mobile device to provide spoken feedback about objects, text, and people in the user's surroundings. 

Accommodations Provided

Adjustments made to the learning environment, curriculum, or assessment methods to ensure equitable access and participation for students with diverse needs. 

Exceptionalities Supported 

Google Lookout assists students with visual impairments in navigating their environment by providing auditory cues about objects, text, and people around them. 

Support for UDL Guidelines

UDL emphasizes flexibility, and multiple means of representation, engagement, and expression to accommodate diverse learning styles, preferences, and abilities.
