Examining if and how Aspire activities translate to more diverse and inclusive STEM spaces in higher education.

112 colleges and universities are engaged in Aspire.


  • 6 Regional Collaboratives with 18, 4-year and 24, 2-year institutions.

  • 53 4-year institutions across 3 cohorts in Institutional Change.

  • 1300+ participants engaged in inclusive practices professional development activities with National Change.

  • 44 Fellows supported in the IAspire Leadership Academy.

Apply to launch a Regional Collaborative of 2-year and 4-year colleges

Get involved in Aspire by joining the Regional Change initiative. Regional Change works to launch, develop and sustain Regional Collaboratives (RCs) toward the goal of developing a more diverse and inclusive STEM faculty at community colleges. These efforts are amplified through collaboration and coordination across RCs at a national scale. We invite submissions of short proposals at one of two stages: (a) Planning grant for developing partnerships and building capacity ($7,500), or (b) Implementation grant for launching aligned programs and activities ($81,250).
