Janani is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aspirations LLC and currently the Division Chief for General Pediatrics and Vice-Chair and Medical director of all pediatric outpatient and outreach clinics in the Department of Pediatrics at West Virginia University, WV, USA. Her experience in managing the Division and understanding the socio-economic impact of patients not attending their scheduled visits (i.e., no-shows) gives her a deep insight into the causes and effects of no-shows from a clinical perspective. The impetus for this project came from her desire to use AI to reduce the no-show rates in the clinics under her purview.
TaraChandra is the Chief Business Officer (CBO) of Aspirations LLC and is currently the Division Chief for Genetics in the Department of Pediatrics at West Virginia University, WV, USA. He has a wide range of experience in both the Medical field and business. He will work with the team to help develop and implement products, as well as working with customers. His previous experience in running a business will be an asset to the team by developing customer segments and projecting the marketability of the product(s). As a clinician he has experience in the specialty clinics at the Physician Office Center as well as multiple outreach locations in West Virginia and will have valuable insight from a specialist point of view on the factors that impact patient’s adherence to their appointment at different locations.
Quincy is the Chief Science Officer (CSO) of Aspirations LLC and is currently a medical student and research scientist at West Virginia University, WV, USA. He has previous experience creating unique learning algorithms that capture information spanning from population studies to personalized medicine approaches. He has previously been involved with patenting and marketing of medical devices for type 1 diabetes mellitus, collaborating with both industry and academic partners. His previous work includes the construction of machine/deep learning algorithms for biomedical applications, which includes bioinformatics, deep survival networks, ensemble-based frameworks, topological data analysis, and others.
