My first original series on YouTube is getting a huge reboot.
The Sabotage Series used to be a series where I would show off some of my skills (Skills? Noob!) while dishing out a butt-whooping win in various game modes. It was a pretty boring series, where the format was not very great. Videos were long, not very interactive, and never really had something to laugh about. But that all is going to change here with the reintroduction of the Series.
Rules stay the same as before, or have changed slightly. I have included screenshots of the various game modes that have the eligibility to be a Sabotage Series race. If any changes were made, I will note them next to the image.
The Career and Classic modes keep the same requirements, but the Time-Limited Events (TLEs) now join. Multiplayer TLEs do not apply to the Sabotage Series.
Knockdown used to require a gap of 10 knockdowns, but it is now 8, since the normal maximum knockdowns in a race is 15.
Multiplayer stays the same, but instead of a more strict allowed rank difference, I decided that just letting the matchmaking decide the opponents would be the better option. It does not matter if the second place opponent is a Level 1 or 99.
The Gate Drift mode stays the same all around.
A new Sabotage Series challenge has appeared. Research and Development (R&D) AI's and Enduro Double Down (EDD) AIs now have a chance to be a Sabotage Series race. It has no rank limit, so I could have a car nearly MAX/PRO and still be at the first AI race in Lab.004, and still finish ahead. Five seconds seems like a really good distance as far as the AIs, since they can get pretty hard to beat as you advance in the event. Boosters are allowed. Championships are excluded since CPUs drive the cars, and the Final Test is always the easiest of the races.
I am rebooting the series because I am trying to reintroduce Asphalt 8 back to my channel after leaving it because of having to restart my progress when I switched from iOS to Android (best decision I've ever made).
