How it all started

It was 2019 when I finished my secondary school as a teenager there where all sort of ways I could make money, scam inclusive but because of a resolution I made as a Christian before finishing my high school I decided not to indulge in any unruly behaviour.

My dad as a farmer usually took me to farm, I specialized in fumigating weeds and driving pest with chemicals and I was good at it. One day when we where coming back from farm I was carrying the spraying-can on my back, and a man noticed me and called me to help him fumigate the weeds in his surrounding, after doing this he gave me some reasonable amount of cash. This made me understand that even without a skill, intensive labour can can bring food to the table. (I never actually like fumigating it is stressful).

Making THE business name

After this discovery I decided to set up a flyer for fumigating, it was then I had a small problem, I couldn't find a Name for my business. So I went on for a research then I remembered my dad: When he was in the university he was a photographer and he named his studio ASODOM Photo's meaning - ASEMU OGBAOBORE DOMINIC, after looking into this i decided to make out a name from it. At first I used ASOKOH - ASEMU OGBAOBORE KOHWARHOR then I used ASOBAN - ASEMU OGBAOBORE BANABAS and finally I decided to use ASOPED - ASEMU OGHENEKOHWARHOR PEDRO. Then the problem of the name was solved.

I also encountered a problem on fixing a the name fully, I couldn't simply just say asoped it sounded absurd so at first I went with ASOPED LTD, then finally I realised the purpose of creating this brand all along, which you can see in paragraph two: creating a working space not just for me but to put a smile on both the faces of the service givers and also the service recievers. So concluded my busniess/brand name to be ASOPED SERVICES, and concluded my motto: Making the world smile. This process took me two years.

The logo making was one of the most intense part of this brand creation; I ventured into Graphic Design in the year 2020, and I was not certified yet I did some small Jobs e.g. creating logos, banners and some others, then i had this feeling why don't i generate a logo for my business. I started drawing a lot of sketches on what could suit my brand name, it was quite fraustrating until I took a step back.

After about four months of a failed logo creation, one of my bosses that link me to the sales of Data Hon. Festus Onisiru came and gave me a hype, asking how my business was going (becasue he was out of town for a long time) I just told him it was normal. The next day, he started asking me of the services I offered, i wrote them all to him, the next day surprisingly he gave me a stack of 50 business cards under my brand name and with the services i did. I was so happy and motivated and at the same time i was quite sad because i did not see a logo on the business card.

The next day, I drew a new sketch and instantly made a logo that suited my taste, you can see it at the top of this page.

The letter A stands for ASOPED, and the embedded design meaning: through our keyboard we go viral.

THE GOAL OF THIS BRAND

Like I said earlier, I was and still not a fan of intensive hard work so I ventured into Data sales and Computer Services and as at present ASOPED Services is still in the process of reaching her proposed goal, which is "creating a workspace for all services".

present position

Like a saying goes "you lead your home well first before you lead can others", so as at present ASOPED SERVICES would be personal business until I see good partners and sponsors to create this dream I foresee.
