My name is Abigail Smalley.  I began my adventure into education when I was 18 years old in a special education SCD classroom. That classroom that I had worked in taught me that I have a passion for making a difference. The progress that I was able to see within all of my students inspired me to continue my education and gain my Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education.

Since I began attending school at Grand Canyon University, I have worked in many classroom settings such as: Behavior Modification, SCD, 2nd Grade, PK-4, and Kindergarten. These experiences have helped to shape me as an educator and have allowed for me to grow in areas such as: classroom management, differentiation, and delivery of instruction. I am thankful to be in this field and look forward to making my mark and positively influencing my students for many years to come.
