Dr. Asmaa Boujibar is an associate professor in planetary science at Western Washington University. She joined both Geology Department and Physics & Astronomy Department in the fall 2021. She received her Ph.D. in 2014 from the Université Clermont Auvergne (France). She was a NASA postdoctoral fellow at the Johnson Space Center (2014-2016), then a Carnegie fellow at the Carnegie Institution for Science (2016-2021). Her research group specializes experimental petrology, cosmochemistry and data science. On her free time, she plays guitar and djembe. Hannah received her BS in Geology at Saint Louis University. She focuses on the formation of Mercury's crust and involved chemical equilibria. She performs high-pressure high-temperature experiments and thermodynamic modeling. Hannah is also a teaching assistant for Physical Geology. She enjoys reading, crafting, and exploring Washington state.

Vanessa is a graduate student at Western Washington University. She received her BS in Earth and Planetary Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz in Santa Cruz, CA. She focuses on the behavior of minor elements during the differentiation of Mercury. Her work combines experiments at high pressure and temperature using a piston cylinder and chemical analysis using a SEM, electron microprobe, and LA-ICPMS. In her free time, she likes to read and collect plants.

Will Grossmann is a senior year undergrad pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics. Will's primary interest is planetary geophysics with a current focus on studying the formation of geochemical terranes. Currently, Will is using unsupervised machine learning to cluster various data types from NASA's 2008 MESSENGER mission. In his free time, Will loves to ski, hike, play guitar, and scroll through google earth while listening to audiobooks.
