Welcome — You’re in the Right Place
If you’re new to Alcoholics Anonymous, you’re not alone. Many of us arrived feeling unsure, nervous, or wondering if we really belonged. You don’t need to have anything figured out to be here—just a desire to stop drinking.
AA is a community of people who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other so we can stay sober and help others do the same. There are no dues or fees, no requirements to speak, and no pressure to participate beyond your comfort level.
You can listen only—sharing is always optional
You don’t have to call yourself an alcoholic
Meetings are confidential and based on mutual respect
Everyone here understands what it’s like to struggle with alcohol
People come from all backgrounds. What we have in common is that alcohol caused problems in our lives—and we found help together.
No. AA is not a religious program. Members understand “a Higher Power” in their own way—or not at all. You are welcome regardless of your beliefs.
AA may be helpful if:
You’re wondering if alcohol is a problem
You’ve tried to stop on your own and couldn’t
You want support from people who’ve been there
This meeting is created by and for Deaf alcoholics. Communication access, visual pacing, and cultural understanding are central here. You belong exactly as you are.
If you’re new, we’re glad you came. Stay as long as you like. Ask questions if you want. Keep coming back—you don’t have to do this alone.
